Not much of an urgent priority but it would help if we could make the page background as solid instead of transparent for readability. 

For the front-page layout, we can take inspiration from the LOL wiki for menu selection or True Detective in terms of information heirarchy (minus the red), ClashofClans for simplicity and announcement/poll sidebar.
