Stat of a hero that provides protection from Magic damage. The more resist a hero has, the more reduction in damage it provides. Every 10 Intelligence also gives a hero 1 Resist. Every point grants 2 Power.

Formula for counting magical damage reduction is for some reason more complex than the armor formula, and neither of the two examples below are super-correct, so take them with a grain of salt (absolute error of up to 5% at extreme cases (too low or high resist stat)).

From 38 resist to 80 resist it behaves closely to a linear function with a formula of:

$REDUCTION = 0.0042x+0.014$; where x is the resist value and magic REDUCTION is in a ratio; when 38<x<80

Above 80 it shows a logarithmic dependency:

$REDUCTION = 0.2428ln(x)-0.7082$; where x is resist and magic REDUCTION is in a ratio; when x>80

Basic table for magic damage reduction (from observed values in game):

• 225 Resist = 62.5%
• 200 Resist = 59.1%
• 175 Resist = 55.2%
• 150 Resist = 51.4%
• 125 Resist = 46.5%
• 100 Resist = 41.1%
• 90 Resist = 38.5%
• 80 Resist = 34.1%
• 70 Resist = 30.7%
• 60 Resist = 26.8%
• 50 Resist = 22.4%
• 40 Resist = 18.2%
• 30 Resist = 14.5%
• 20 Resist = 8.5%

Compared to the Armor stat, the Resist stat offers approx. 5% worse damage reduction.
